| Braham-Barrett commits to 2011 |
|
Boro have today confirmed the signing of full back Craig Braham-Barrett on a contract that runs until the end of season 2010-11. Twenty Two year old Braham-Barrett signed on Non Contract forms just a fortnight ago following his release from Blue Square Premier side Grays Athletic, and has impressed in his handful of outings to date. Boro boss Steve King commented "We are absolutely delighted to have secured Craig as our player until the end of next season, we have seen in his few games for the club that he gives us a great outlet with his athleticism and pace, it was only this time last year that he was involved in Peterborough’s title winning squad, which underpins what a good signing this is for the club." His performances had alerted a number of clubs, King added "I spoke to Craig last night and there had been contact from Conference Premier and League clubs about his availability, I was keen to conclude this deal and must thank Steve Duly who gave up his Saturday evening to draw up the contract and meet Craig to get his signature, I got the call at midnight saying it was a done deal." Equally comfortable at left or right full back, Boro fans have only yet seen him operate down the right flank, although at Peterborough he was preferred down the opposite side. |
